The La Sportiva Spire Woman GTX in Black/Topaz is a modern speed-hiking shoe designed for agile trekking and fast outdoor adventures. The upper combines high-abrasion mesh with Nano Cell 2.0 technology and PU TechLite reinforcements, offering a great balance of breathability and durability.
Its key feature is the GORE-TEX® SURROUND® membrane, which provides full 360° waterproofing and breathability — air circulates not only from above but also through side channels in the midsole, efficiently wicking moisture away.
The midsole consists of compressed EVA foam reinforced with TPU, and features side ventilation channels protected by a mono-nylon mesh to prevent debris ingress. A Stability Control system ensures lateral support, while the Ortholite insole adds cushioning for long hikes.
The outsole is made from Vibram XS Trek with an Impact Brake System for excellent traction on hard, soft, or muddy terrain. Weighing approximately 370 g per shoe (size ~38), these shoes are ideal for fast-paced excursions where weight, breathability, and weather protection matter.
